Hi..I have a Maytag Neptune stackable washer and just started acting up..the normal cycle will start and then just stop..I will restart it and it will stop again...I have tried chasing the settings but still acting up..have you heard of this before
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Maytag is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: Model is..MLG2000AWW don't know what year

Customer: Depends...I can but depends on what's involved

Customer: It doesn't happen all the time..I'm doing a empty cycle now and it is working

There is a service bulletin out for this issue and it is caused by a poor neutral, usually at the compound connections at the water valve or at the motor control. Are you able to access those connections for inspection?
