I spilled water on the burner of my gas range top and it is clicking; has been for 10 minutes. What should I do?
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: I wiped up all the water immediately but the clicking continues; it has been doing it more than 10 minutes.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: What work? I don't know what the problem is.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: It's a stove top that is built into the counter. On my former stove, a pull out, the top could lift so that you could see/clean underneath. There is no way to see what is going on.

Hello, and welcome to Justanswer. My name is ***** ***** I will be the one to assist you. Basically from the sounds of it your spark electrode got wet and is going to have to dry out over night. Hopefully it will not need more time than that. If it does not work in the morning you will need to replace that part.
