  1. The oven control is dark now?

got your diagram?
Expert:  Kelly replied 8 months ago.

It is likely a wiring issue, like a neutral connector burnt off. Have you pulled the rear access panel off to inspect wiring?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
no not yet
Expert:  Kelly replied 8 months ago.

I suspect you will be able to see what has happened as soon as you do. Let me know what you find.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
wait I did to put the oven light assembly in didn't see any wires that had been burned but the oven light
Expert:  Kelly replied 8 months ago.

It has probably burnt off again. We need to get access to the back to look and perform any testing.

n sc got a dusting a day ago.finnaly got above freezing 2day
Expert:  Kelly replied 8 months ago.

Ah, we have about 15" still on the ground and today is first day above freezing for a while, south central Montana.

oh tit brrrr id move lol
Expert:  Kelly replied 8 months ago.

LOL. So, looking at the diagram, it would take all power wires breaking to make oven light and burner lights go out. They all share a common neutral. I suspect you are gonna find a white wire that has come loose in that circuit. Let me know, I am curious to see why. Those are low current circuits.

montanna is on my bucket list hope I make it.love horses and love 2 ride

Spring, summer and fall is amazing here, winters can be rough, though!

k back to square 1
Expert:  Kelly replied 8 months ago.

The neutral comes in to the cord terminal block, then to the oven light then to the switches. If the oven control is working, the break has to be after the control neutral splice.

See the attached wiring diagram.
