I have a Whirlpool oven that is displaying the error code

Customer Question

Hi! I have a Whirlpool oven that is displaying the error code E2, I was wondering how I can make that go away without resetting the oven?
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Whirlpool is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: Do you want the serial number or the model number?
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: honestly, I would prefer to. I need to use the oven in a short time span.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: The electric coils on the top are working just fine at the moment

Hello and thanks for using JA!

My name is ***** ***** I have been repairing appliances for over 40 yrs. Hopefully, together we can find out what is wrong with your appliance.

First off, so you have the model number off the label down by the drawer?

Also, the error code normally is 2 numbers like F1 E2 or F3 E2 can you double check that for me?
