If you press the cancel button, does the pump come on?
Is the door closing easily and latching securely?
No, that won't help. Please allow me just a few minutes to prepare some information for you, thank you!
To invoke the Diagnostics Cycle, perform the following while in standby:
■ Press Start key to wake up control panel.
■ Press any 3 keys in the sequence 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3 with no more than 1 second between key presses.
■ The Service Diagnostics Cycle will start when the door is closed.
Does anything happen after all of the lights come on?
Okay, just leave it be for a few minutes and see if you can hear anything turn on and run, please.
Thank you, ***** ***** posted! This will help us to determine if the door switch is faulty or there is a control issue.
The lights will change, blink and go solid, etc, depending on the portion of the test cycle. Let's just let it go and see if anything runs, like the drain motor, wash motor, etc.
Okay, and nothing runs at all, motors, etc?
Okay, so from that, we know that the issue is likely with the door switch. Do you have a meter to perform any electrical testing and are you able to disassemble the door to access the switch?
Excellent, we can test that door switch to make a 100% certain diagnosis.
Yes, a second set of hands is helpful with holding it once the last screws are removed.
The switch is part of the latch assembly shown in the video below.
Can you access the switch terminals for testing to see if the contacts close when the plunger on the switch is depressed?
Test for continuity in the switch when the plunger is depressed.
I am here, did you test the switch?
