That error means the control is getting a message from the thermistor that it is too hot. Does it display even during an Air Only cycle, using no heat?
Okay, so you are certain it is not overheating, correct?
The heat is not shutting off or the dryer?
Okay, so it is not heating now, though, correct?
Did you clean out the air path to make sure the air flow is good? Is the air venting strong?
Okay, and how long does it run before it stops during a heat cycle?
Hmm, if you are certain the air flow is okay, that would leave the control or the wiring between the control and thermistor as suspect.
It would be odd for either to cause that issue. That circuit works on resistance that changes with temperature. So, the control may not be reading it correctl or there is something causing resistance in the wiring.
It is more likely to be a control failure than a wiring issue. I am still concerned about the air flow. Can you remove the vent from the back and see if the behavior changes with the vent disconnected?
Air flow good out the back?
So it is likely a control issue. I would replace the control. Please allow me just a few minutes to prepare some information for you, thank you!
