We have a GE profile dishwasher. The door often won't close

Customer Question

we have a GE profile dishwasher. The door often won't close because the upper rack doesn't retract back far enough. We've had a repairman out three times to try and fix and are about to have him out a fourth time. A The problem seems to be with the side rails getting hung up in the metal guide channels on the sides. Any thoughts?
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your GE is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: Dishwasher is 7 years old, model # PDWF680R10SS
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: No - we have a technician coming out. But maybe I'll remove the upper rack and take a closer look at the operation of the side rails.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: No - that's about it for now

In the diagram at the link below, is number 617 getting bound up when the rack is pushed back?
