The N just means that the control is seeing that the unit is not cooling. It is not indicative of any specific issue. So it cools on 120 VAC supply but not gas?

it does not cool on any setting. I installed a new board.

Okay, so no gas flame will light? Your original post said it got cold on 120 VAC supply. Was that direct wiring it, bypassing the board?

There is a thermal fuse on the boiler housing, see picture at the link below. Is this fuse testing closed?

Oh, so it is there but bypassed, thank you. Sounds like a wiring issue in that case. Any visible issues that you can see either in the harnesses or at the board connections?
