I have a samsung dryer model dv50f9a8gov/a2. Light on clean filter, I cleaned filter, piping, and machine, and light stays on and machine will not start.

OK then either the belt is broken or the high limit thermostat is burned out on the blower housing. You need to remove the top and check the belt and if that is good you will have to remove the front as well along with drum to check the thermostat on the blower housing for continuity. It will be one of the two.

Then you have bad high limit on the blower housing.
