Need Appliance Repair Help? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hello. My name is ***** ***** I'll be helping you with your appliance question today. Please wait a few moments while I review your question.
You are correct that it sounds like your bearing and seal is going out if the noise only occurs during the spin cycle. There is a video that shows you how to replace this bearing if you wanted to replace the part yourself. It's a very labor intensive project but if you're handy you can do it yourself. The cost of the parts which are listed in the beginning of the video are about $150. If you had a technician replace the parts it would be another $150-175 for trip and labor.
