My maytag centennial...about 4 or 5 years old, but light

Customer Question

My maytag centennial...about 4 or 5 years old, but light use...40 to 50 loads per year.....has failed....I unplugged for 5mins, held start button for ten senses ok by the sound, water fills , wash light comes on.....nothing, complete silence, then pumps water out.....when spin light comes on, again nothing just!
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Maytag is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: It
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: No, except I'm quite handy and have all tools needed.....including multimeter if needed...
