I have a new Viking Wall Oven Model # RVSoE33055. I reset

Customer Question

I have a new Viking Wall Oven Model # RVSoE33055. I reset the clock after a power outage and somehow must have done something to the inside light.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Viking is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: It comes on when I manually hit the button on the outside, but won't come on when I open the door.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: We just installed it 2-5-2016
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Factory Direct

These are the instructions from your user manual if this does not work please do not rate negatively just let me know so I we can try something else.

The time-of-day must be set before any other program can be used. When your oven is first connected to

the power in your home, the timer display will show --:--.

To program the time-of-day:

1. Push and hold the “MIN/SEC TIMER” and “BAKE TIME” buttons simultaneously.

2. Turn the “SET” knob until correct time is displayed on the digital clock.

3. Release hold from “MIN/SEC TMER” and “BAKE TIME” buttons

Give me just one moment I thought you said you were having trouble with the clock. I will look up the instructions for the light. Bare with me another moment.

Ok. Thx

So sadly the only instructions in the service manual for when this happens is to replace the bulb but that is kind of mind boggling to me since you said manually pressing the button makes it work so it shouldn't be a blown bulb but that is what the manual is saying. So if you would like as opposed to rating me negatively I can opt out for someone else to give you another idea. If I do come across the answer for you I will certainly chime back in. I just don't want you to have to wait.
