Need Appliance Repair Help? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Thank you for choosing just answer my name is ***** ***** I will be the one who will try to assist you tonight. Do you happen to have the model number of your appliance so I can pull up some information for you?
I am just one moment while I pull up some information for you
The thermal fuse cuts off power to the microwave if the microwave overheats. To determine if the thermal fuse has blown, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the fuse doesn’t have continuity, replace it. The thermal fuse cannot be reset—if the fuse is blown, it must be replaced. (Caution: The microwave oven can store thousands of volts of electricity in its high voltage capacitor, even after the microwave oven has been unplugged. Due to the potential for electric shock, it is extremely dangerous to replace the electronic components in a microwave. Only a licensed technician should replace the thermal fuse.)
Sadly that is not the thermal fuse for your unit as I am unable to find that particular part being manufactured anymore but that is a visual aid for what the problem is. Again do not order that part because its not for your unit.
This is the manual for your particular unit. The only other part that it could be is the magnetron which unfortunately is pretty expensive.
You said that your device is not heating correct?
Are you needing help with installing the magnetron?
and the diode?
I was uncertain what exactly you were asking. I was stating things that could be the problem was all.
Ok give me just one moment I want to see if I still have the service manual on this unit.
Did you receive the offer sent over for your unit. I am going to not only provide the actual technician manual but also a few other helpful ones that will help with this.
You still with me? Haven't heard back from you yet?
