The fan should be turning if the compressor is running.

  1. Will it spin if you help it start?
  2. Is the coil below the fan frosted?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
I will plug it back in. give me a second
Expert:  Kelly replied 10 months ago.

You have an issue with the sealed refrigeration system. Please allow me just a few minutes to prepare some information for you, thank you!

Expert:  Kelly replied 10 months ago.

Problems within the sealed system (compressor, leaks, evaporator, etc) are repairs that require specialized tools and training as well as a federal license to handle the refrigerant used. This repair is not one you will be able to complete. To have it professionally repaired, you can expect it to run about $400 + parts. It requires a great deal of time to complete.

I hope I have earned your 5 star rating using the stars at the top of the page! Please let me know if you have additional questions, I am here to help! Thank you so much!
