Customer Question

Ran my jean-air dishwasher with out removing the plug in my new garbage disposal. Now the control pad doesn't light up. Did not trip the circuit breaker. There is a faint odor that I cooked some part. Looking for some help. I also replaced the circuit board just b4 running the cycle. Control pad worked fine till I ran a cycle where the washer could not drain.

Thank you.

  1. So it is totally dead now?
  2. Did water leak when it could not drain?
  3. Do you have a meter to test voltage with?
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
water ran on the floor
Don't have a meter but can get one

totally dead now

We need to see if it is getting power to the control. The leaking water may have damaged the control if it shorted something. Let me know when you have a meter to test with, please.

I'm back Kelly. I did replace the control but while working on the washer the door look assembly became looked and I don't know how to disengage it to so I can assemble the door panel
Expert:  Kelly replied 10 months ago.

You will need to use a small screwdriver or hook fashioned from a coat hanger to pull the latch open.

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
ok. Is it easy to break something?
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
or will it just release as it would if I pulled on the door to open it
Expert:  Kelly replied 10 months ago.

It should just release.
