kenmore 70 series washer abruptly stopped working when water was filled no function at all. Wall outlet was dead despite live hot wire...replaced outlet, ok now, but washer still dead
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Kenmore is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: about 14 years...unsure of model at the moment

So that model will fill but the motor will not run if the lid switch is open. Does it fill or is it totally dead?
