Customer: we have an ice maker ...stand alone ...and the "cleaning needed" light wont go out. Weve cleaned it before and have cleaned it twice today! help!

Hello, this is Dave. Sorry to hear that you’re having this issue. Although this could sound like a control it has been reported that the water level sensor can cause this. It is the T shaped part that hangs in the water reservoir behind the pump. It is part number W10485962. Here is a link to a picture. Sensor link At about $45 it is a fraction the cost of a control.
