Have a Huebsch dryer ST30ce. I have changed both contractors

Customer Question

Have a Huebsch dryer ST30ce. I have changed both contractors and thermostat. If I hold both contractors in at the same time with the dryer running I get heat in the element. If not held in the element does not heat. What could be wrong?

In the attached diagram, check to see if the "B" switch is working. That is what tells the unit to energize the contactor to turn the heat on. Is that switch working?

Coin mechanism has been removed, this particular dryer is being used in a football fieldhouse at a tiny little school in VA.

Are the wires for that switch securely together then or could they have come apart?

some of the heating elements heat and others do not. Have verified that 240 volts are coming in ruling out the breaker having problems. I think now I have some elements out just not all of them.

I have attached the complete service manual to aid you in accessing and testing the heating elements.

Ok at this time here is what has been replaced on this dryer.
Both definite purpose contactors
2 heating elements
When I run the dryer it generates no heat.
But if I hold both contactors in while running all elements get hot.
What's left at this point to check or replace?
Thank you

I will place your question back to the list. Perhaps another may have an idea what is causing the issue.
