Hi, welcome to Just Answer. Sorry to hear you are having appliance trouble, I know how frustrating that can be! My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you!

  • The fan nOt running would be why the cooling is not sufficient. That fan should be running anytime the compressor runs. In the diagram at the link below, number 210 is the rear panel inside the freezer. Can you remove that to access the fan and see if it can be turned manually?

The fan turns freely by hand but won't come on by itself. The freezer gets cold

Will the fan run if you "help" it to start?

Do you have a meter to test to see if it is getting power?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No. Can I check without the test
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

Not really, no. Either the fan is faulty or is not getting power.

Best guess. What is the most that breaks down
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

The evaporator fan motor, by far.
