Customer Question

How do you get the too of the maytag centennial washer off
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Maytag is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: Model # MVWC350AW0
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: There is an ink pin filler between the 2 tubs. I have the washer out and unplugged. But I can't see how the lid releases to lift it up. I see the hinges on the back and I know that it will lift up, but I don't know where to release it and I don't want to scratch it up.

Of course, you don't need to disconnect the lid lock assembly.
