kenmore 80 series model: 110 72822101.
gas dryer will not light. new igniter & gas coils. motor turns drum rotates but no heat.
please help

Is the igniter glowing or not when you turn the dryer on and it should heat?

no. does not glow at all.

OK then the gas coils wouldn't really be a possibility. It sounds like you have a bad thermal fuse or thermostat. These are located on the back of the dryer. Below is a link to a video that shows you how to test the thermostats and fuse to determine which one is bad. Most likely the fuse is the part that's faulty. You can ignore the test for the heating element since you have a gas version, but all the other tests are the same. Just replace the part that has no continuity.
