The "D" is to say you can bring up any logged error codes, are you working from the tech sheet of the machine?

DIAGNOSTIC CODES:

When a problem with the wash system is detected

a diagnostic code is assigned and logged into the

control board memory with the last cycle count at

which it occurred. An assigned diagnostic code

indicates the washer must be serviced. The control

board will allow as many diagnostics as possible

for the machine to continue running. In some

cases, when the washer shuts down, something

shall be displayed on the display until the con-

sumer selects the off key. See the table for specific

actions or references to where the proper action is

defined.

Accessing Diagnostic Codes

After the machine is in the service mode, pressing

presoak

key will display a ‘d’ and turn the LED on

above the presoak key. The diagnostic codes can

be viewed by using the arrow keys. The down

arrow will go down the list.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.

Expert:  Chas replied 11 months ago.

Okay, When the start button does not work, have you tried unplugging the machine for a couple of minutes and retrying it?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Multiple times
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I have tried letting it sit for hours too. It will randomly start as it just did
Expert:  Chas replied 11 months ago.

Have you done the membrane check test when it will not start for you?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Could it be something with the door?
Expert:  Chas replied 11 months ago.

And it always comes up that the start button working, as for the door, the self test would not work either if that was the problem.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I see
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
All the diagnostics says its fine. I must have put it in service mode six times between midnight and 3 this morning
Expert:  Chas replied 11 months ago.

Everything is pointing to a bad main board in the control panel. Sounds like a relay starting to go bad on you. There is nothing else that can be causing this problem since all other options have been exhausted at this point. I would replace it.

All I ask of you is to please rate me with one of the top 3 ratings. If there is anything else I can help you with today just let me know. You can continue asking questions for as long as you like even after you rate me. Tips are welcome if I have helped you a lot, however they are not mandatory
