What is that actual model number of the appliance please... This will be on a label stuck on the inside of the door or on the door opening; if it can't be found there, then look on the fascia panel, or rear of the appliance.
I'm confused; please explain the full fault with your appliance and tell me why it is that if you are replacing the valve, the door should be locked beyond your control
