Alright...from the diagram you sent me, the water is running

alright...from the diagram you sent me, the water is running down the shaft of the dishwasher diverter motor. Would it most likely be the shaft being worn out and needs replacing, or the dishwasher sump & seal assembly gone bad?

Unfortunately this is a bigger issue than the shaft. This is the seal that the diverter shaft goes through. It's not replaceable separately so the entire plastic sump assembly needs to be replaced if the sump seal is leaking I'm afraid to say.
