Getting E6 code after washer has filled. Does it's sensing then starts a clicking sound, then the E6 code. I have unplugged it several times but nothing changes.
JA: What's the make and model of your washing machine? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: WPGT9150 Top Load White-about 8 years old.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: I'm attempting to check the drain pump, have a guy coming Monday, but have loads of laundry to do.

That error means there is an issue with the clutch (see attached page). This is a pretty in depth repair. Is this something you are wanting to undertake?
