I have a GE Refrigerator, the model inside the top-freezer

Customer Question

I have a GE Refrigerator, the model inside the top-freezer says: GTS22WCP. I have replaced the thermostat in the back of the freezer. I have replaced the condenser fan down at the bottom. Problem List: #1. Freezer still won't defrost, it will get real warm and things inside (including ice) will melt, then it will refreeze when it gets cold again. #2. It makes noise, a "thumping" noise when it is on trying to cool. #3. It will not make ice anymore. I've adjusted the icemaker several times to get it to freeze the ice cubes all the way and then dump all of the ice out. Eventually, it would just overflow the icemaker and partially flood the freezer.

Does the freezer ever get down to 0 degrees?
