Customer Question

I have a Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Mod # ***** (tpp loading)
During the spin cycle, it starts making a LOUD noise.
I thought it might be a bearing problem.
When I spin the tub manually, there is no grinding noise.
There are no grease spots on the floor under the washer.
What could be causing this noise.
And can I still use the washer? (I have been using the washer for the past 3 months with the loud noise during spin cycle.)

Could the sound be a noisy drain pump maybe? Can you remove the back from the machine and set it to a drain/spin cycle and see if you are hearing the pump?
