Customer Question

Fan noise just started in ge gas stove jgbp26gej4ad. What is it. How to fix it.

The noise you're hearing is probably coming from the convection fan blade. These get coated with grease, and they start to wobble on the drive shaft. The problem can usually be solved by spraying the fan blade with a spray degreaser, such as 409. If this doesn't solve the problem, please let me know, and we'll pursue other solutions.

Where is the fan?
Expert:  John replied 1 year ago.

It will be mounted in either one of the side walls, or in the rear wall. It should have a grill cover, or be behind a pattern of perforated holes.

In your oven, I think the fan is beneath the oven drip pan.
