We have a kenmore elite bottom freezer about 3 yrs old.

We have a kenmore elite bottom freezer about 3 yrs old. There is a bad odor coming from bottom and we can't access drip pan to check. Can you tell us how or what else it might be.

Newer refrigerators do not have removable drip pans. The base where the compressor and fan motor sit are also the drip pan. Remove the back from the refrigerator and look for whatever could be causing the smell, which is commonly a dead mouse from my experience ( they love that area for some reason )
