The most common cause of drainage issues is a plugged drain line. Have you checked the connection to the home's plumbing for an obstruction? Does the pump run, even though it is not draining?

Hey Kelly
Since I asked this question I actually found residual water on the base pan. Ran fan in guys porch to observe the float. His drain hose has been linked almost closed behind the Dw.found debris has collected under float intermittent causing the drain pump to continuously run
Orfered a new float assy
.and already replaced the drain hose. I'll contact you leave this
