Customer Question

I have a Whirlpool Duet front loader washer. The Model # ***** ***** and
the Serial # ***** ***** This washer was purchased somewhere around 2007 or
2008 and shortly thereafter, we purchased the Duet dryer. Anyway, the drum on our
washer no longer seems to like us and is not only making terrific noises but it seems to
have been released from its original "track". Please help.

Hello, this is Dave. Does the noise only occur when it is spinning and does it start slowly and build? Does it sound a little like a jet taking off?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No. Something is not right as the drum seems to be slipping off its track (assuming there is one). The huge noise is when
the wash cycle is near completed, then the drum, nearing the end, can wake up any of us who might be sleeping in the
2nd story. Is this a better description?

Okay. It sounds like the support at the back of the drum is broken but that should also cause vibration and noise during spin. What do you hear or feel if you turn the drum by hand?

My bad on asking for help. I already know the answer and I respectfully ***** ***** need any help. Sorry for the bother.
