I moved into a new house and I have a GE Parks 40225 clothes

Customer Question

Hi. I moved into a new house and I have a GE Parks 40225 clothes washer. The water levels don't seem right to me. When I have on extra large it only seems to be filling up maybe 2/3 the way and it seems like a big washer unit but not re the water. Is there something wrong with it. I asked the builder superintendent and he says no but I just can't believe that. Thank you

On the largest water level setting , the water should go up to the highest row of holes in the basket . If it does not do this then the water level switch is defective . Part number WH12X22716 which you can see at If the machine is less than a year old call for service - it's in warranty - - - GE 1-***-***-****
