Learning how to wire a single phase dual voltage freezer compressor.

Customer Question

Learning how to wire a single phase dual voltage freezer compressor.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: Sure, it is an old Beverage Air EF74 Freezer... the tag is hard to read but I can get that use 115v or 230v at about 10.5amp. When I checked the wiring box only has three wires; one black and two whites. One black and white goes to the compressor and another white and a splice black goes to the evaporator
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Electricians generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.
