Customer Question

GE fridge/freezer model PSS25NGMDCC.
Fridge was too cold so we replaced part #WR49X10091, the air inlet cover (aic).
While the old aic has sections of styrofoam cut out so that the cold air appeared to vent to the front, the new aic has solid styrofoam blocking the front but has openings on the side so I'm guessing the air vents that way instead.
I don't know if any of that matters, but since we replaced the part, the temps are off - freezer is -8 degress and fridge is 41 degrees.
Did we do something wrong?

Hello I am Appliance Guru, Did you get it plugged in correctly and what was being blocked? This sounds like the vent port is still partially blocked are you sure you have it mounted correctly?
