Turn the power off at the main supply switch for at least 4 hours to reset the electronics. Does the behavior change? Is there water in the tub that has not drained out?
Did you hear the pump running at all? Is there water in the base of the machine, under the wash tub?
Okay, if the base is all dry now, has the float reset and the control changed at all?
Can you see the styrofoam float on the bottom base?
Can you post a picture of the area under there, please?
The mechanical compartment, under the tub, where the motor and wiring is.
Did you look inside that area for the float? It should be just left of center, looking from the front with the access panel from below the door removed.
Yes, the base is the part under the tub, that is where the issue lies. That was what you dried out but you did not open it up?
