Turn the power off at the main supply switch for at least 4 hours to reset the electronics. Does the behavior change? Is there water in the tub that has not drained out?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i have done that left it turned off over night but nothing changed and i drained the water off as the was a lot in the bottom off the dishwasher

Did you hear the pump running at all? Is there water in the base of the machine, under the wash tub?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
not sure on the pump and the water was in the base of the machine
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

Okay, if the base is all dry now, has the float reset and the control changed at all?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no still the same as i emptied the dishwasher of water last night
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

Can you see the styrofoam float on the bottom base?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

Can you post a picture of the area under there, please?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Did you look inside that area for the float? It should be just left of center, looking from the front with the access panel from below the door removed.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
ok so now your wanting me to start opening the dishwasher up
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

Yes, the base is the part under the tub, that is where the issue lies. That was what you dried out but you did not open it up?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no i tilted the dishwasher so the water would drain out
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i cannot take that part off there are no screws to loosen off to remove it
