ok for touch screen models when you replace the filter and close the filter door it automatically resets the filter .

For not touch screen models you have to press and hold the reset filter button for 3 seconds .

Let me know if replacing the filter and fully closing the filter door did not reset the filter for you!

Ok and you are fully inserting the filter so that the filter door can close correct?

no just call for water through the chilled water on the dispenser .

And if it still does not reset insert old filter and see if that then resets the filter indicator!

ok one last thing when you install the filter are you able to read the word Front when looking at the side of the filter ?

This filter indicator system works off a RFID chip on the filter under the label if it is not installed properly it can not reset itself when a new filter is installed .

so if the word BACK is facing you when the filter is installed pull the filter out and turn it 180 degrees so the word Front is showing.

ON NEW FILTER TOOK OF WORD BACK OFF MABYE CHIP UNDER THAT I PUT OLD FILTER BACK IN WATER WORKS BUT REPLACE FILTER STILL ON BUT WATER IS COMING OUT

it is possible that the RFID chip is not under the label ,that could happen

When the new filter is in place and the filter door is closed can you then get water out of the chilled water dispenser?

ok you do have to let the air bleed out of the new filter it could tack 1-2 min to bleed all the air out for water to start coming out of the dispenser.

If you do get water out the filtering part is ok and it is just an issue with the RFID chip on the filter housing.

I would contact whim ever you purchased it from and see if they will exchange it for you !
