I'm ***** *****. Frigidaire 4000 series dishwasher not

Customer Question

Customer: hi..I'm ***** *****. Frigidaire 4000 series dishwasher not operating. Panel lights, but it was advance set for a night washing and it ran through cycle w/out washing dishes. This d.w. sits on a slight overhang that is not insulated well. We had several very cold nights and did not run d.w. for a week due to being away. Have put heat tape on and direct heat toward pipes. When turning on, there is no sound whatsoever.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: What other info is needed?
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Appliance Technicians generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Thank you!

When you select any cycles or options ,do you get any lights on the door?

And do you have a Volt-Ohm meter and know how to use it to be able to do any component or voltage tests?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
panel lights. have volt meter but really don't want pulling it out of wall.
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

No need to remove it from it`s location but you will need to take the inner door apart to test the door switches to see if they are giving the control board run voltage to operate the dishwasher components.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
is there any kind of manual online or video that I can use to walk me thru it?
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

no manual ,let me see if I can find you a video!

ok thanks

This is as close to your model .

And your just going to open the door and test the door switches so disregard after about 1 min 35 seconds.

Test voltage to and from the switches on the Black and White wires connections looking for 120 volts A/c after you press on the door switch as if the door was closed.

ok the video was helpful...will begin dismantling door
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

no problem you have two black and two white wires you will have one black wire that has constant voltage to one of the white wires ,then once you press the switch you should have voltage on the other black wire to the other white wire. looking for 120 volts a/c
