My Maytag too load won't agitate. It is the kind that does not have the agitator in the inside drum. The belt keeps falling off!

Hello, the center pulley nut has come loose. You need to take the belt and pulley off clean the area and put some lock tight on the nut. This happens from overloading the machine. Once you put the pulley back on tighten the nut and walk the belt back onto the pulley. Put the plastic protector piece back in place and it will work fine.I work on the honor system here @ Just Answers.
