Removed slab of ice from bottom and left side of freezer.

Customer Question

removed slab of ice from bottom and left side of freezer. Put drawer back in place and went on vacation for a week. Returned last night and drawer will not open. Pulled unit away from wall and noticed slight leak in rear by water tank. Still can't get drawer open.

Hi, you will need to unplug the unit for 24hr to thaw it enough to open the door. Then you will be able to tell what's going on exactly. Possibly air leak, clogged defrost drain line, you have to thaw it to test it....We work on the honor system here at Just Answers. Were not credited for our work until you rate our answer positively.
