Customer Question

I have a Maytag front load washer model MHWE550WW01.
I have replaced the drum bearings and seal.
I have an error code F 73 which does not show in the manual.
The only two wiring plugs I am not sure of are the two going to the front control
panel and on the black box they are marked UIP EXP SERVICE
I have two plugs one with two wires and one with four wires, which wires go where?

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! The connections will correlate to the wires, so UI means User Interface, UI3 would mean User Interface 3 wires, etc. Can you post a picture of the connectors you have left over? The F73 is not a valid error code, so I suspect it is a control issue due to the improper inputs from the wires you connected to the EXP SERVICE connection, which is likely only used during programming.
