Does the igniter still glow and turn on and off even though the flame won't turn on after a couple of cycles?

OK then you don't have a bad sensor or thermostat which means that your gas valve is just acting up. You already replaced the gas coils and the problem continues which means that the entire gas valve would need to be replaced to resolve this issue I'm sorry to say.
