I have a Kitchen Aid mixer model KSM90. I took it apart to install new grease. Carefully putting back together, it now will not start. Looking at the online electrical diagrams, I am getting AC 120 power to the Phase control board and there is 120 AC across the brushes. Any suggestions? From Russ

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! If you have 120 VAC at the motor, then the motor would have to have issues. Does it make any noise at all when turned on?

I have 120ACV at the leads going directly to the motor. Also, I can manually easily turn the rotor of the motor. Thanks for th offer of the service manual, but I do not think that I will be needing one once we get the mixer going. Also, there is no noise made when then power is turned on.

If you have 120 VAC to the motor and it is not starting, it is faulty.
