Need Appliance Repair Help? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hello from JAMy name is Woody.I will be glad to assist you today.I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 35 Years, and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 80,000 internet repairs under my belt.
It is either the burner or the switch .
do you have a volt-ohm meter to be able to do any testing?
I would first check for voltage to the element (with the switch in the ON position of course .
You should see 240 volts A/C .
if you have the voltage it is a element issue .
if you have no voltage with the switch ON then it is a switch issue.
Since you are in Canada Sears American web site does not show part numbers for your model ,but you can order then from any local appliance parts dealer in your area.
