My FER311FSO dryer stopped drying clothes on non-timer

Customer Question

My FER311FSO dryer stopped drying clothes on non-timer settings. Yesterday it stopped turning on at all. The door close button does make a clicking noise when I push it in and the power cord is fully engaged at the wall socket.

Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 35 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 80,000 internet repairs under my belt.

Do you have a volt-Ohm meter and know how to use it ? to be able to do any testing .

this is a very basic dryer with few components if it is now no longer starting it could be a start switch ,the door switch ,a timer issue and or even a voltage issue to the appliance.

But testing of at least the voltage to the unit and the door switch and start switch will need to be done.

I can also walk you through by passing the door switch and the start switches to test each of those with just basic hand tools.
