We have 3 year old Kenmore dryer Model #417.91122310.

Customer Question

We have 3 year old Kenmore dryer Model #417.91122310. Yesterday it started to not heat up. I cleaned out the lint everywhere I could think of. Any other things to try before I start taking things apart?

Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 35 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 80,000 internet repairs under my belt.

First I would turn the circuit breaker OFF then Back on .

The breaker could have tripped .

Then try the dryer again!!

Do you have a Volt- Ohm meter and know how to use it to be able to do any testing ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I do not have one.

ok did you turn the breaker off then back on again and try the unit?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I did. it was not tripped. Everything seems to be working fine on the dryer except for the heat.

ok with out a meter we can only guess ,we can not test anything.

On your model you have 5 different components that if either one fail the dryer will run but not heat.

No I can guess at which one it may be that is up to you .
