Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! The only difference between manual and auto dry is the use of moisture sensors. It does not affect the heat at all. I suspect it is coincidental that it ran in manual model okay. If the element is not shorted and the parts you have replaced are good, the issue has to be air flow related. Have you check the lint filter and the housing to see if they are blocked internally?
