Customer Question

I have a wth800 (top load)and I am getting dE as a fault which according to the manual means the lid is open. The lid is closed but still getting the fault. Is there a sensor that can be disconnected or replaced or a way of getting around this

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! The switch will not be able to bypassed, the electronic control will need to see it open and close or it will display an error. I suspect the switch on that model may be magnetic, I cannot locate a mechanical switch in the machine, see the link below. Does the lid lock when it is working?
