My frig froze up, I removed the freezer compartment back

Customer Question

My frig froze up, I removed the freezer compartment back plate. The coils were frozen solid with frost and ice. So, I unthawed it all, and cleaned up the water. I figured this meant I needed a new defrost sensor. When I plugged it back in for a test run, it ran for 2 or 3 minutes, then died. The coils were cold, and both fans were running. Could melt water have shorted something?
