I just bought a used 5 star stove. Back burners work well

Customer Question

I just bought a used 5 star stove. Back burners work well and ignite with igniter. Fronts are a different type of burner that seem to burn yellow and won't ignite without a match.

Make sure that you have the correct orifices the flames should be a clean burning BLUE. Yellow flames indicate that its burning rich. Also make sure the burner cap plates are sitting flat and not slanted. Also though odd for a new stove I've filed the spark ignitor tips and a bit on the burner caps to to make it spark the flame every time.
