Customer Question

I have a GE electric range. 2005 vintage. When trying to replace the oven light, I unscrewed the entire light bulb soccit. There is a yellow wire and a green wire. I need to know which color is positive and which soccit terminal is positive. Thanks.

If there are only 2 wires going to the light socket, then it doesn't matter which wire goes where. The power and neutral wire to the bulb socket can be reversed since it's just AC voltage.
